Limit Switches Quick Check

If the limit switches were not performing properly, they will send erroneous signal to controller, and you will see UI displays "Limit Detected" and cut fails. In that case, please follow. This instruction teaches you how to quickly determine which limit switch is at fault.

Procedure

  • Move the cutting head into the center of the cutting bed. 

  • Turn on the Main Unit. Go to "Setup and Maintenance", choose "Input and Output Check", select "Input", then move down to the "Limit Switches"

  • The cutting head moves like this, the limit switches are working fine.

  • If the left limit switch was not working, the gantry moves like this:

  • If the right limit switch was not moving, the gantry moves like this:

  • If the up limit switch is not working properly, the gantry will move similar to this:

  • If the down limit switch is not working properly, the gantry will move similar to this:

Special Case

  • If the X Axis belt is not seated properly, the Nozzle Block will not move left or right and sit for 20 seconds on the top and bottom of the cut bed. Please verify the integrity of the X Axis Belt.
