Install the Water Inlet Check Valve

Required for all WAZER set-up!

Inlet Check Valve is a device that prevents water back-flowing from the WAZER Pump Box into the water supply hose. This device is required for the WAZER Pump Box connected to drinking water supply. We highly recommend you to install the check valve regardless, as it helps protect the water input plumbing from the backpressure created by the water pumps.

The following instruction will guide you through the installation. If you have any questions, reach out to support@wazer.com for assistance

Tools Needed

  1. Hose cutter or a sharp blade

  2. Towel (optional)

  3. Marker (optional)

Installation Procedure

1. The Inlet check valve is to be installed before water enters the pump box. We recommend installing before the filter canister. It can be found in the setup kit of the accessory box.

2.  By this time you should have the Water Inlet Filter Canister Install. For more information, please visit this page.

3. Use a hose cutter or sharp blade, cut a small section of hose, and connect to the input side of the Inlet Filter Canister

4. Connect the check valve to the small section of hose. Mind the direction of the arrow on the check valve, ensure the arrow is pointing towards the filter canister.

  • Water flows from the source through the check valve into the filter canister.

5. Connecting the input hose to the input side of the check valve.

6. Tip: We are connecting a lot of Push-to-Connect style fittings. For proper seating, the hose has to sit into the fitting for approximately 1 inch (25mm). Other wise the connection will leak. Drawing a line 1 inch away from the hose end, and see how close the fitting come close to the line is very helpful.

7. Now you have installed the inlet check valve.
